CFSL takes on the Battle of London

 In Blog

The Battle of London formerly known as “The London Throwdown” is annual event held in January as one of the biggest competitions outside of the Crossfit Games. This is an opportunity for athletes to test themselves and compete before the Crossfit Games competition begins with the CF open.

The Battle of London Finals will take place at the Copper Box Arena at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on the 18th and 19th of January 2014. The event will see 150 male, 100 female, 30 male masters and 20 female masters athletes compete over two days to see who will be victorious in the Battle of London and take their stake of the £5000 prize purse!

Think you’ve got what it takes to compete at the Battle of London? You’ll have to qualify first.

To qualify for the Battle of London you must register at before 7pm Friday 8th

There will then be 3 qualifier WOD’s released 1 per week from November 3rd.

Crossfit South London athletes have put up their hand to compete, so I will be running a “special Battle of London Class” on Friday’s at 7pm.

“Friday night Lights”

I would like to make more of an event out of this so if you are interested in participating, judging or spectating please feel free to come down and get amongst it.

This is not a normal CFSL class. – This class will be for the BOL WOD only.
Lets represent Crossfit South London and be a part of the greater CF community.
