Meet Bryony

1> What do you do outside of CrossFit for work and for fun?

I’m a Dancer / Aerialist (love to fly around in harnesses and on silks) and just recently started a new job at 1Rebel as a trainer for Reshape classes!! Anything else I can fit in my day is fun to me – especially if it involves socialising with a nice alcoholic beverage or a coffee date. Ohhhhh and I LOVE DOGS!! Any dogs you need looking after give me a shout – they literally make my day.

2> How did you get involved in CrossFit?

Last November my partner kept talking about this thing called Crossfit. I didn’t understand the concept so he showed me Camille demonstrating ‘Fran’ (it looked like the most horrific kind of work out imaginable). However he guilt tripped me into going a long to a trial class with him. Luckily the WOD was all gymnastics based with rope climbs and I left that class on an absolute high. I’ve been hooked ever since.

3> When did you first join CFP?

4> What was your first WOD in the classes?

I was too overwhelmed to retain any info given to me!! Haha BUT I do know it involved kettle bell swings and burpees on the minute! (And I love a Burpee) ?

5> When did you realise CrossFit was right for you?

When I started to notice the changes in my body, fitness and energy. It’s helped in all aspects of my job as an aerialist and instructor.

6> What are your short term goals?

A MUSCLE UP!!

7> Long term goals?

To feel excited when I hear the phrase ‘we are working on snatches today’!!!!!

8> What is your greatest accomplishment?

Having had the fantastic experiences and opportunities I’ve been lucky to have in my career as a dancer, which is still ongoing.

9> What is your favourite WOD / movement?

Anything gymnastics based!! I love a handstand push up, a pull up or a rope climb?

10> What is your least favourite WOD / movement?

SNATCHES are the bane of my life!! However I get anxiety just thinking about the aerodyne ahh!! I think I would take a snatch WOD over the aerodyne any day of the week!!

11> Would you recommend CrossFit to your friends and family? What advice would you give them?

ABSOLUTELY!!! They all think I’m crazy every time I try to persuade them into giving it a go. Mums too obsessed with Zumba to even consider lifting a weight.

12> Least favourite and favourite music to WOD to?

Least favourite – Hard core techno (or whatever you call it).
Favourite – Anything I know the words to (it stops me from feeling the pain of the WOD)

13> Bonus question: Most memorable or funniest CFP moment?

Rusty’s lack of beer pong skills ??

Meet Edgar

1> What do you do outside of CrossFit for work and for fun?

I work in a restaurant bar in the kitchen cooking, many of you have been there and tried those steaks 😉 and I also work in the mornings in the fuel bar in Perpetua, so people come and get your shakes or coffee 😉 for fun I like going out and have 1 or 2 or 3 or … Drinks with friends , I also love traveling around the world even if I don’t do it that much

2> How did you get involved in CrossFit?

When I came to London I started to hear a lot about it and I started to get interested so I had a look in Internet what was that about and there was Perpetua and I went to the box and Mario and Rusty introduced me to it

I don’t really remember but it was July – August 2014
