Meet Mick CFD apprentice

Meet Mick, apprentice here at CFD.

I come from a team sport background having played Gaelic Football and Rugby from an early age. In my teens Rugby took preference and I came up through the age grade school teams within Leinster and Ireland. Afterwards I spent three years as a semi-professional with the Leinster Academy and six years playing professional rugby, two years here in Ireland and four overseas in France.
I had always foreseen coaching as my natural progression after my playing days and on returning home completed the IRFU Level 1 (stage 3) coaching certificate. I continue to play and I am currently player/coach with Blackrock College RFC.

I am a firm believer that Comradery and Competition are huge motivational factors to get you out of your comfort zone and push you further than you ever thought you could go. That is why I chose CrossFit!!
I hope that I can bring my enthusiasm and knowledge into the Crossfit Dublin community and look forward to continually developing my coaching skills and being challenged at every turn.

Something you might not know about me: I was the first non-French person to captain Racing-Metro 92.
