Help!! I am losing too much weight on the Paleo Diet!
Often on the Paleo Diet, there are people who need/want to gain weight, or the already lean guys who have reached their target weight and wish to stay put and not lose more weight. These folks can be put off eating Paleo for fear that they will disappear….
Eat more food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To bulk up fast and add a lot of muscle to your frame, you need to eat more calories than you burn per day. This can easily be accomplished with a Paleo diet, due to the high fat intake it will be a walk in the park to get your required calories per day.
Eat bigger meals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Increase your portion size. You just have to eat more food, especially once you’ve established that you actually aren’t eating very many calories after all.
Eat more fat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are over double the amount of calories in a gram of fat compared with protein and carbohydrates. This will give you plenty of prolonged energy throughout the day and during your CrossFit workouts. It will allow for the slow and constant release of protein to the muscle cells for optimal growth and repair.
  • Drizzle butter on your food.
  • Incorporate coconut oil into everything.
  • Take an extra serving of sweet potatoes.
  • Eat more avocados.
  • Add an extra egg to your usual omlettes.
  • Grab some nuts for a snack.
