We need YOU! Join us in our ‘Rowvember Challenge’ to row 1 million meters for Movember.ie!

Our goal in Perpetua is to row 1 MILLION meters (1,000km) in the month of November. We are doing this to help raise awareness and funds for Movember Ireland. At the moment we have 7 members on our team but need your help to reach our goal! There is no set distance that you have to row but ‘Every little helps’ (Copyright Tesco, 2001). The goal is to help raise funds for Movember Ireland and raise awareness for Men’s Health, in particular, Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer and Mental Health. Enter your distance after a WOD to help us reach our goal or hop on a rower after class and get those extra metres in.

Donations can be made here!

Please join because I really don’t fancy rowing 250,000 metres on the last day on my own!!!

“The state of men’s health is in crisis. Men experience worse longer-term health than women and die on average six years earlier. Prostate cancer rates will double in the next 15 years. Testicular cancer rates have already doubled in the last 50. Three quarters of suicides are men. Poor mental health leads to half a million men taking their own life every year. That’s one every minute.” – Movember Ireland.
