Strength Class Update

Our 9 week strength class is coming to its end. Myself and Michael Caroll have been working hard on improving set up positions, technique, movement, bar speed and the other finer points of the main lifts (squat, deadlift, press, bench press, pull-ups). Over the 2 months we have seen great improvements in peoples weaknesses that have been holding back these lifts, with lots of mobility work & accessory work (like the ghd http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Noz9Qy_ukVI&feature=youtu.be) targetting peoples specific weaknesses. I think everyone has PB’d at this point in most lifts! with 2 x 200Kg deadlifts recorded (Paul Ryan and Shane Miley).
Testing day is Wednesday this week to re assess peoples maxes (from the current group) and then we will begin again next week (21st oct) with a new cycle. Space will be limited as most of the current crew wish to continue, but if you are interested in getting a slot, please email albert@crossfitdublin.ie and put “strength class” in the subject title.
We are also planning on introducing an evening slot also if people are interested, so please state your preference of morning or evening. Please note – a commitment is needed – 8 weeks work, and if your in, your in!
