Greg is our newest recruit to the apprenticeship program here at Perpetua Dublin. Greg has a background in soccer, playing with the Dundalk. F.C Youth Academy and Dublin City University. He then made a switch over to America where he played two years of Division 1 University soccer while finishing his degree in International Business Studies. Greg has received multiple accolades during his time playing soccer including a ‘university player of the year award’.

Greg was introduced to CrossFit while working for Reebok at their HQ in Boston and began with us here as a member of Perpetua in February 2015 after suffering an injury that had kept him out of competitive sports for over a year. “Since I was a kid I’ve been plagued by an injury list long enough for a short story and playing football got frustrating, I decided to give CrossFit a go to hopefully get me back playing but I enjoyed it so much that I decided I would give football a break for a while and I haven’t really looked back.”

“I have experienced the power that training can have on peoples lives and that is my main reason for undertaking the apprenticeship programme. My goal is to educate people on the many facets of fitness and pass on the many benefits that come with that and off course make sure they are having fun along the way. It was an easy choice to choose Perpetua, the standard of the coaching is second to none and there is a very special community feel that makes it a great place to spend your time.”
