What is the Barbell Club?

PBB Club is born as a way to help members improve in their Strength and Olympic Lifting; the aim is to work on technique but the focus will be on becoming more confident and efficient with barbell movements in Crossfit workouts.

What type of movements can I expect to see?

Expect to see movements like:

  • Olympic lifts
  • Mobility drills and accessory work
  • Squat variations
  • Presses
  • Pulls and Deadlift variations
  • Core development
  • Barbell cycling

What are the Movement Requirements to joining Barbell Club?

Some movement requirements that will be needed include…

  • Being able to squat below parallel;
  • Being able to perform an overhead squat below parallel with an empty bar;
  • Being able to hold a proper front rack position.

Who is the Barbell Club NOT for?

The PBB is not for new joiners. To take part to the club you must be sufficient with the main lifts (snatch, clean and jerk).

When is the Perpetua Barbell Club?

Perpetua Barbell Club is every Saturday from 12pm to 1pm. At the moment it is one class per week and as the Club grows, so will our schedule. The first cycle starts on October 4th. The Club will have a ‘course’ format, every week we’ll build up on skills and we’ll advance in the cycle.

How much does the Perpetua Barbell Club cost?

COST OF PERPETUA BARBELL CLUB IS £25 PER MONTH.
Barbell club is for all current members. An additional £25 will be added to your current membership.
