Please welcome Perpetua’s newest apprentice Redmond! Say hi if you see him around the gym!

About Redmond

Redmond has had a keen interest in human movement and performance from a young age. Growing up in a large family with four older brothers provided a healthy competitive environment which lead Redmond to competing in a wide variety of sports including rugby, football, tennis, athletics, triathlon and surfing. The process of exploring the many facets of human health and performance eventually lead him to both Physiotherapy and Crossfit.

Redmond believes in an holistic approach to fitness with an individualised approach to assessment, injury treatment and rehabilitation programmes, when combined with group training for strength and athletic development this creates a powerful growth both athletically and on a personal level.

Redmond has enjoyed working alongside individuals of all athletic levels and backgrounds from elite athletes to first-time beginners and everything in between. He has worked previously for 3 months in Rivernorth Crossfit in Chicago and has being crossfitting since 2012. He understands that everyone has goals they wish to achieve, whether that be losing weight, running a marathon or simply being able to play football with their children. He wants to help you achieve these goals and encourage a more happy and fulfilling quality of life for our community.

Redmond graduated from University College Dublin with an BSc (Honours) Physiotherapy with over 1,000 hours of athlete and patient assessment and management experience. He is very committed to his ongoing professional development so that he can provide the best service to our members – Redmond most recently completed the Crossfit Level 1 trainer course at Crossfit Perpetua Dublin June 2015!

He values the Perpetua Crossfit philosophy of personal development through a strong community togetherness and is excited to begin the Crossfit Perpetua Dublin Apprenticeship! Learning from the very best coaches, their proven training and coaching methods he looks forward to the friendships, learning experiences and challenges that lie ahead.
